Tesla Model S Battery Pack

This week we fully disassembled the underbody batter pack from a Tesla Model S. We’ve taken the batteries and many of the pack’s components, for an exciting electric conversion project that will soon get underway.

Fellten / Jaunt Factory Visit

On Friday I visited Jaunt / Fellten in Melbourne, Australia, in the anticipation of the two fully electric classic mini kits we have heading to our workshop. It was great to see all the different kits they have and are in development. Keep a watchful eye out for our upcoming post as we convert two different classic Minis to EV.

ID Buzz & KEV The EV Kombi

With the launch of Volkswagens new ID buzz featured in this month’s New Zealand AutoCar magazine. Kev, the Kombi, was also featured right beside it. This 1966 classic was brought back to life by our team at The Surgery and converted to electric in an old meets new tribute to a true icon
