The second round of the 2025 Surgery Sprints was held yesterday at Manfeild Circuit, Chris Amon. The weather was great and so was the turnout , lots of new faces and cars, which is great to see.

Some photos from last weekend’s MG Classic at Manfeild. It was a HUGE turnout, with mixed weather, which provided some great racing.

Round 2 – 2019 The Surgery Sprints – Manfeild

The second round of The Surgery Sprints was hosted by the Fiat / IMC Committee.

The weather didn’t really know if it was coming or going, light showers on and off all day. Regardless of some wet patches, it was another great turnout for round 2 of The Surgery Sprints

As far as motorsport goes it is fairly low-key, so is a great entry point for those who want to try their hand at motor racing. The format is simple: a pair of cars are released onto the track at 10 second intervals and they complete 3 laps from a flying start. Points are awarded according to the times each driver achieves and these points go towards individual and club prizes.
