Our Nurses
These days, there are many different ways in which we can care for your health. We feel that the best way to do this is to offer you a range of professionals, with different skills and different approaches. Things have moved on since the days when the doctor did everything!
For example, you may choose to see our Practice Nurses, Gaynor Richards, Lynne Leek and Natalie Price. We continue to develop our nurse-led services, which have proved to be very popular. Our practice nurses now take a lead role in managing conditions such as asthma, diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease & warfarin therapy.
Our Practice Nurses are highly skilled and trained to take the lead in Chronic Disease Management e.g. Respiratory disease / Asthma, COPD, Diabetes and Heart Disease.
Minor Illness and Treatment room clinics (e.g. dressings, ear-syringing etc) are run daily by the Nurses. Well Woman and Travel clinics are run weekly.
The Practice Nurses also offer health education to help maintain a healthy lifestyle.
